Vice President of Operations
With more than 28 years’ experience in health care and benefits administration, Tim Brown brings an abundance of knowledge in information technology, operations management, process evaluation and initiative enhancement. He applies his expertise in project management and strategic planning to provide client support, as well as to oversee internal business operations, system processes and infrastructure strategies. Tim’s responsibilities include work with payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, client and team technical support and state compliance.
Prior to joining Accordant, Tim held a variety of management positions with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, where he was responsible for enrollment, client relationship management, information technology operations and process improvement initiatives. His background also includes recruiting, training and account management with Colonial Life and Ward Services. He has led customer and IT teams through major strategic initiatives, rebuilding systems and improving operational efficiencies.
Tim is a Certified Facilitator through Development Dimensions International. He holds a Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and a postgraduate diploma from Furman University’s Institute for the Management of Information Technology.
