Pamela Maroulis, FAHP, CFRE

Pam Maroulis serves as Accordant’s President. In this role, she is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the firm and for working closely with client partners to craft solutions that will not only meet their mission needs but also exceed them. Pam also assures quality and consistency across Accordant’s continuum of services to advance philanthropy, strengthen governance and drive community health. In addition, Pam serves as a principal consultant partnering with health care organizations to elevate philanthropy and leadership.


Pam brings more than 28 years of philanthropy experience, including a wealth of expertise in major gift cultivation, campaign management, grateful patient programs, physician engagement and culture alignment. She excels in helping organizations adapt to and thrive among the constant changes within the health care sector. With a focus on relationship cultivation, Pam enjoys and succeeds in the collaboration and partnership creation among and within health care organizations.


Before joining Accordant, Pam spent fifteen years in philanthropy leadership as Vice President of Philanthropy at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and in various leadership roles at Inova Health Foundation. She also has prior experience in various management positions in independent school and higher education philanthropy at Augusta Preparatory Day School, Baylor School, Foxcroft School and Georgetown University, where she was responsible for multiple significant campaigns.


Pam is a Fellow of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (FAHP), the highest level of certification that can be obtained in health care philanthropy, and a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). She has been a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) since 2005, where she has served as conference chair, presenter and event faculty. She is a conference speaker and published author. She has a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University and also holds a psychology degree from the University of Tennessee.
