Our Team

Elizabeth Powell brings to Accordant more than a decade of experience in project management, client, donor and alumni engagement, board leadership development, communications and program planning. She oversees client relations, team engagement, proposal management and special projects. Her expertise guides the development and implementation of best practices, streamlining advancement strategies to grow donor engagement and giving. Elizabeth’s passion lies in working with organizations and individuals to create innovative programs, communication and customized initiatives to enhance their mission and impact.

Prior to joining Accordant, Elizabeth worked in development and alumni engagement for Emory University where she focused on advancing donor and alumni relationships for its school of nursing. She also led stewardship and operational programs and strategies to build volunteer leadership pipelines and innovative donor and alumni events.

Elizabeth is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and serves in volunteer leadership roles advancing health care, community and higher education. She received degrees in public relations and psychology from the University of Georgia.
