Thought Leadership

With more than 30 years of marketing experience, primarily in the health care sector, Melanie Manzi’s areas of expertise include content writing and development, project management, partnership coordination and event planning. Having various positions within the health care sector – nonprofit software and solutions, hospital business development, health benefits and hospice solutions — Melanie offers insights benefitting hospital systems, foundations and other health care organizations.

Prior to joining Accordant, Melanie served on a strategic marketing and sales team with a focus on health care fund development, donor management, data analytics, grateful patient strategies and overall philanthropy growth. She enjoys helping health care organizations identify and overcome their challenges through powerful thought leadership, social media, engaging speakers, educational events and strategic partnerships.


Melanie is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) and serves on a local philanthropic board of directors. She holds a Professional Content Marketing (PCM) certification through the American Marketing Association and received her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University.
